Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Sweet Love Childcare Centre Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Program Coordination: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote child development.
  • Education and Training: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, and provide guidance and support to children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children, and engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
