WAGE RATE: $24.107 – $24.615

Reporting to the Manager of Support Services, the Facility Operations Worker plays a vital role in assisting the Support Services department with a variety of essential tasks. Responsibilities include the safe transportation of goods, equipment, and patients, as well as maintaining cleanliness and managing waste collection. Additionally, the worker will respond to emergency codes as necessary.

Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

Required

  • Completion of Secondary School Diploma
  • Possession of a Valid Class G Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to complete a Transportation of Dangerous Goods course if required
  • Code White (CPI certification) or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions while adhering to strict timelines
  • Proficiency in safe lifting and carrying techniques, including the ability to assist in lifting patients weighing over 250 lbs using a stretcher or chair with a partner
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Capability to effectively prioritize workload
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Compliance with safety footwear and personal protective equipment requirements
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
