Job Description

The Assistant General Manager will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience. This includes managing staff, maintaining high-quality service standards, and promoting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff training.
  • Monitor and control restaurant finances, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including Food Safe and WorkSafe requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote the restaurant.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Food Safe Level 1 certification.
  • Serve it Right certification.
  • Work Permit.
