Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care & Surgery Centre. As a key member of our Cardiology team, you will be responsible for performing Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, holter and/or event monitor testing, and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABP) testing.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct ECG testing and analyze test strips to provide accurate results.
  • Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure a smooth testing process.
  • Enter patient test information into Meditech to provide Electronic Health Records database for client/patient files.
  • Maintain equipment and report according to established department procedures/policies.
  • Provide orientation and training to ECG staff and other hospital staff as directed.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level.
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience.
  • Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certified.
