Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Field Inspector to join our team at JD Property Canada Corp. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Examine plans, drawings, and site layouts to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Inspect construction of buildings and engineering projects to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Verify that electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulations and codes.
  • Enforce steel and concrete installation codes to ensure structural integrity.
  • Inspect sewer systems and pipelines to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Ensure safe working conditions are maintained at all times.
  • Inspect existing buildings for structural defects and fire hazards.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone.
  • Group insurance benefits and mileage paid.
  • Permanent work term with 35-44 hours per week.
