This is a full-time position requiring Monday – Friday work from 7:00AM to 5:00PM, with occasional night or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of the plant equipment
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including labour work and lifting heavy objects
  • Operate various types of heavy equipment, including loaders, skid steers, and man lifts
  • Work at heights, including man lifts, dust collector bags, and silo access
  • Work independently and be a self-motivator
  • Basic understanding of electrical knowledge
  • Perform snow removal duties in winter months

Requirements:

  • Experience in plant maintenance or a related field is an asset
  • Prior concrete experience is an asset
  • Welding experience is an asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Plumbing experience would be an asset
  • Good understanding of plant operations

Working Conditions:

  • Work in tight, awkward spaces, including bending, crawling, and twisting
  • Work at heights, including reaching and climbing
  • Lift objects up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Use motor coordination with arms, hands, fingers, and legs
  • Exposed to dirt, dust, odors, noise, and weather extremes
  • May be required to work nights or weekends
