Job Title: Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team at Tri-Mach Group Inc. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and deploying machinery and equipment, serving as a bridge between customers and our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create preliminary concepts for customer quoting purposes
  • Engage with customers at a technical level to understand their specific requirements
  • Liaison between third parties to verify product claims
  • Develop and execute presentations internally and to customers
  • Provide assistance in estimating labour and material costs for quoting purposes
  • Identify technical risks and their impact on the project
  • Participate in concept reviews, design kickoffs, and manufacturing reviews
  • Travel to customer locations as required
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma
  • Professional Engineering Certification (PEng) or working towards it
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD 2D
  • Knowledge of the food industry, food safety, and/or sanitary design principles
  • Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment and work independently on various design projects
