Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary: Chancellor Park is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a long-term care setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient care services to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care services to residents, including administering medications, performing wound care, and providing emotional support.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on health-related topics, including disease management and prevention.

Requirements:

  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
  • Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test.
