Director, Enterprise Project Management Office

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) and Operational Readiness Office. As the Director, you will play a critical role in supporting our transformational strategy and change management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the EPMO team vision and planning, applying best practices for development, delivery, and support of the Enterprise Portfolio Plan (EPP) to meet business needs and ensure successful project completion.
  • Establish and maintain project governance standards, including policies, procedures, and frameworks, to ensure consistent project management practices across the organization.
  • Lead the Operational Readiness Office team to support EPP Projects.
  • Oversee the project portfolio, prioritizing projects, allocating resources efficiently, and managing interdependencies among projects.
  • Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of resources (human, financial, and technological) across projects and identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed.
  • Foster the growth and development of Team Members by providing coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for professional development, while promoting a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Clearly communicate the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the EPMO to the team, providing direction and inspiring high performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Performance Management with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
  • Proven enterprise-level solutions-oriented results and decision-making skills with a focus on the big picture.
  • Directing continuous process improvement and ensuring Team Members are focused on the highest value initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and Team Member management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present difficult concepts in understandable terms to all levels in the organization.
  • Attention to detail, organizational/time management, and a strong inclination to self-development.
  • Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize, and respond to multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong business acumen and awareness of technical trends.
  • Ability to balance risk, cost, and benefit while maintaining customer service orientation.
  • Extensive transformational knowledge/experience, including experience with advisory companies (i.e., Gartner).
  • Ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs to accommodate our hybrid working model.
