Job Summary:

The Ironworker plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity of West Edmonton Mall's Attractions. This position requires a high level of expertise in structural steel installation, fabrication, and hoisting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of all rides in the Galaxyland Amusement Park to ensure structural integrity.
  • Design and implement structural steel fabrication and installation projects throughout West Edmonton Mall.
  • Perform corrosion maintenance on steel structures at the World Waterpark to prevent damage and ensure safety.
  • Paint, refurbish, and maintain all steel structures at the World Waterpark to maintain their appearance and functionality.
  • Assist in the maintenance and refurbishment of all water slides at the World Waterpark.
  • Operate aerial platform equipment to perform tasks at various locations throughout West Edmonton Mall.
  • Collaborate with other departments at West Edmonton Mall to complete a variety of tasks and duties.

Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyman/woman Ironworker certification.
  • Minimum of two (2) - four (4) years-experience in the Ironwork field.
  • Excellent background in structural steel installation, fabrication, and hoisting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work at heights, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Pass a basic security clearance.

Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time temporary position, Monday through Friday.
