Job Title: Home Health Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Care Worker to join our team at ALA Family.

Job Summary:

The Home Health Care Worker will provide personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens as needed, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring the home is tidy and organized.
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
  • Ability to work in employer's/client's home.

  • Weight handling: up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
