About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Cougar Construction and Development Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Recruit and hire skilled workers to meet project requirements.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or a related discipline.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
  • Work Environment
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Work in a noisy environment.
  • Work Hours
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines. They will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
