Job Summary

SASKATCHEWAN INC. is seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research and analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and terms
  • Ensure adequate stock levels and manage inventory control
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Review product requirements and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, including visiting trade shows and showrooms
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail or purchasing
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
