Retail Merchandise Manager

We are seeking a skilled Retail Buyer to join our team at SASKATCHEWAN INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing merchandise for resale, maintaining adequate stock levels, and negotiating prices with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials to stay up-to-date on industry trends.
- Arrange products according to planograms to ensure optimal store displays.
- Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Review requirements of the establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
- Select and purchase merchandise for resale, ensuring quality and value for customers.
- Visit trade shows, showrooms, factories, and product design events to stay informed about new products and trends.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Green job: Involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
- Other benefits: Permanent employment, 40 hours per week, English language, and other benefits.
