About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our team at Eagle's Eye Restaurant. As an Expediter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely delivery of food to guests
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as necessary
  • Maintain effective communication with restaurant staff to provide exceptional guest service
  • Ensure exceptional food presentation
  • Assist with arranging the physical environment for special functions
  • Clean and stock the dining area to provide a pleasant environment for guests
  • Contribute to general housekeeping of the restaurant and guest suites
  • Represent Kicking Horse Mountain Resort professionally and courteously to guests and staff
  • Perform related duties as requested by supervisors and manager

Requirements

  • Possession of Serving It Right, ProServe, or other courses in the responsible service of alcohol
  • Previous food service experience - an asset
  • Ability to consistently provide a polished and professional appearance to guests
  • Preferably have a comprehensive knowledge of fine food, wine, and service
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems - asset, not required
  • Valid First Aid Ticket (OFA3) - beneficial, not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift light objects
  • Ability to withstand brief exposure to extreme weather conditions in a mountain environment
