Synagri is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Plant Leader to oversee all operations at our fertilizer production facility in St-Hyacinthe. This role is crucial in driving operational excellence, ensuring the achievement of key performance indicators, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of factory operations to consistently exceed established performance targets across various departments.
- Implement strategies to enhance quality control processes for both raw materials and finished products, ensuring adherence to the highest industry standards.
- Oversee and manage budgets effectively, ensuring responsible resource allocation and cost optimization.
- Direct customer order fulfillment, production planning, and inventory management to maintain efficient operations and meet customer demands.
- Implement and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize data analytics and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Champion environmental protection initiatives, prioritize workplace health and safety, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Cultivate a positive and respectful work culture that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Implement effective problem-solving practices to address operational challenges promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration with an Operations specialization, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of proven experience in similar management roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP software is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mechanical operations and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Experience in quality management and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent change management skills and the ability to lead high-performing teams.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a commitment to process optimization.
- Fluency in French and strong English communication skills.
