About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at AML Construction Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other fixtures
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to WHMIS and PPE guidelines
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
