About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Drivers Supervisor to join our team at Vavaa Distributions Ltd. as an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our delivery team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the delivery team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the delivery process, ensuring that all problems are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting any areas of concern and suggesting improvements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to team members, helping them to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members are aware of and comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, ability to problem-solve and think critically.
