Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team at Interspan Canada Inc. in a temporary position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services, developing specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies, negotiating offers from suppliers, and consulting with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Consult with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
