Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our team at Interspan Canada Inc.

Job Summary:

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services. This includes developing specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, negotiating offers from suppliers, and consulting with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers
  • Consult with suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions
  • Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Provide customer service and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
