Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Laugh N' Learn ABC Guarderia. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our students.
  • Activity Planning: Plan and lead activities that encourage creativity, socialization, and learning, such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, reports, and communication with parents and guardians.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to childcare.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the well-being of our students.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 1-7 months of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-40 hour workweek. The work environment is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent communication skills.
