Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre. As a key member of our Operating Room department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of medical and surgical supplies and instruments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed technical duties related to decontamination, sterilization, reassembly, function testing, and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and instruments.
  • Operate related equipment and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 and successful completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing course.
  • One year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
