Accounting Services Co-op Student

As a Co-op Student in Accounting Services, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly client invoices and accounts receivable collections.
2. Collaborate with the Project Accountant on cash flow management.
3. Support cost control efforts by reconciling sub-trade billing and material reports, as well as managing trades payable, costing, and invoicing.
4. Conduct monthly reconciliations of subcontractor and client billings.
5. Aid in forecasting, project recoveries, and various reconciliations.
6. Develop an understanding of legal contracts.
7. Provide administrative support to the Subcontractor Qualifications Coordinator regarding subcontract documentation.
8. Offer office management assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a College or University co-op or internship program in accounting, finance, business management, or a related field.
- Strong collaboration skills to meet deadlines and a proactive approach to project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting databases and a keen attention to detail.
