About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Barista to join our team at Aramark. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a register/POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs and providing a positive experience.
- Prepare and serve specialty beverages and food items according to brand standards.
- Count, organize, and balance cash drawers, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits.
- Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
- Set up and break down coffee bars, stations, or stores, including cleaning and sanitizing.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a barista preferred.
- Basic math and counting skills required.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow required dress code as assigned.
- Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
- Complete Food Handling Certification as required.
