Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Operations Lead to join our team at Paramount Resources Ltd. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of production facilities, including major sweet gas compressors and sour field gas battery facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Prioritize health, safety, and environmental considerations in all aspects of the job.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to a multi-disciplinary work team, exercising judgment in the selection of work methods.
  • Facilities Operations: Maintain and operate sweet and sour upstream oil and gas wells, facilities, and equipment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Perform regulatory compliance checks and maintain compliance with Paramount, AER, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Cost Management: Closely monitor costs and production to ensure objectives are achieved or forecasts exceeded.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist the Production Foreman in maintaining operations, reliability, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Completed GPO/PFO certificate and/or 4th Class Power Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of operating experience.
  • Skills: Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision, time management, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office: Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs.
  • Driver's License: Valid Class 5 driver's license.
