Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement a Comprehensive Sales Strategy
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing sales team and cultivating strong relationships with customers. Your primary objective will be to generate immediate revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the expedited logistics sector.
Recruit, Train, and Manage a Team of Sales ProfessionalsYou will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
Identify and Pursue New Business OpportunitiesYou will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
Build and Maintain Strong Relationships with Key ClientsYou will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored logistics solutions.
Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance MetricsYou will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
Collaborate with the Operations TeamYou will be responsible for collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Stay Updated on Industry TrendsYou will be responsible for staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
Represent T.E Smith Transport & LogisticsYou will be responsible for representing T.E Smith Transport & Logistics at industry events and trade shows to promote our services.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a Related Field
A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in SalesA minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry, is required.
Proven Track Record of Achieving Sales TargetsA proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth is required.
Strong Leadership SkillsStrong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams are required.
Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal SkillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to Think StrategicallyThe ability to think strategically and develop innovative sales strategies is required.
Proficient in Using CRM SoftwareProficient in using CRM software and other sales tools is required.
