Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Denny's Restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items, as well as maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Monitor inventory and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain optimal levels.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification an asset.
