Logistics Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Silk & Snow. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our order fulfillment process and ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the customer experience team to prioritize daily tasks and ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor and track orders with our courier and warehouse partners to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage exceptions and resolve issues related to order fulfillment
  • Analyze and investigate bottlenecks to optimize logistics processes
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve logistics-related issues
  • Source and arrange LTLs and FTLs to facilitate prompt delivery of goods
  • Maintain inventory of consumable supplies used in production and fulfillment
  • Liaise with charitable partners to ensure donatable products are distributed effectively
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
  • Proven experience in coordination and customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to help others
