About the Role

Xinflix Media is seeking a highly skilled Scene Design Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scenic environments, costumes, and lighting for our events, films, and television productions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design and implement scenic environments, costumes, and lighting for our productions, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and design team members, to ensure efficient and effective production.
  • Education and Training: Teach interest or professional development courses to staff and team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Exhibit Design: Plan and develop permanent and temporary exhibits and displays for museum exhibitions, trade shows, conventions, retail spaces, and other exhibitions.
  • Art and Fashion Design: Utilize your art or fashion design experience to create visually appealing and engaging sets, stages, and lighting designs.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accurate, dependable, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliable qualities.
  • Experience: Possess 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a permanent position and 30 to 44 hours of work per week.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
