Lead Statistical Programmer

Position Overview:
The Lead Statistical Programmer will oversee one or more clinical studies, taking charge of the creation, upkeep, and validation of annotated Case Report Forms (aCRFs). This role also encompasses the specifications and statistical programming of Standard Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) datasets, Analysis Data Model (ADaM) datasets, as well as Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs). The programmer will prepare submission packages necessary for various purposes, including data review meetings and clinical study reports.
Key Responsibilities:
The Lead Statistical Programmer will collaborate with Biostatistical study teams and various departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs within established timelines and budgets, adhering to applicable guidelines and standards.
- Promote and uphold organizational values and expected behaviors, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all deliverables.
- Act as the primary programmer for multiple individual studies.
- Evaluate the statistical programming scope of work and budget at the onset of clinical trials, identifying any out-of-scope tasks.
- Review and provide feedback on various data management documents, including eCRFs and statistical analysis plans (SAPs).
- Assist in data cleaning activities by programming, reporting, and resolving statistical data issues in collaboration with other team members.
- Develop, maintain, and validate aCRFs in accordance with protocol and industry standards.
- Prepare specifications and conduct primary or quality control statistical programming for SDTMs, ADaMs, and TLFs based on established guidelines.
- Utilize Pinnacle 21 for the validation of SDTMs, ADaMs, and define.XMLs, addressing any discrepancies as necessary.
- Employ global SAS macros to enhance the efficiency of statistical programming tasks.
- Contribute to the identification of internal initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of statistical programming activities.
- Stay updated with the latest industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities:
May also involve mentoring junior statistical programmers.
