Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Principal Developer to join our team at Autodesk. As a key member of our Research Engineering group, you will be responsible for developing prototype cloud solutions that demonstrate innovation and drive strategic research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists and software engineers to design and implement cloud solutions that meet the needs of our research projects.
  • Work closely with our enterprise solutions team to ensure cloud deployments align with corporate security and trust best practices.
  • Maintain a productive relationship with our platform development team to ensure our prototype cloud solutions leverage Autodesk's platform.
  • Capture and document successful platform integrations and highlight opportunities to improve the platform based on research prototypes.

Requirements

  • Experience devising suitable system architectures for full stack cloud solutions.
  • Experience with AWS solutions for cloud solution development and deployment (cloud devops, security, etc.).
  • Experience working in a research & development context, working on novel solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience developing commercial software solutions (ideally in computer software or hi-tech industry).
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related.
