Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineering Analyst to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada. As a key member of our Naval Sonar Systems business area, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering leading-edge Underwater Warfare capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage system and subsystem specifications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and flow-down activities to ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify, resolve, and track requirement issues to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead the development and management of system, subsystem, and software design, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Collaborate with Software and SIV&V teams to ensure successful system integration and verification.
  • Support suppliers in the provision of subsystems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
  • Interface with specialty engineering disciplines to ensure the optimum system design.
  • Support the Software Team in the implementation of system design.
  • Support the SIV&V Team in the integration and verification of software, subsystems, and system.
  • Develop and manage the ship installation design, ensuring seamless integration and testing.
Qualifications
  • Relevant systems engineering experience with complex electronic systems or a combination of equivalent education/experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience in requirements development, system design, and requirements management tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct analysis leading to good conclusions.
  • Leadership ability and enthusiasm for learning and growth.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
