Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill Cambridge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 16-20 staff members
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient kitchen operations
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a food service management role
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide exceptional service to our customers. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work a 40-hour week and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
