About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Barrie Special Care Home Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to our residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as dementia care, wound management, and medication administration.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
