Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Barrie's Special Care Homes.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as feeding and toileting
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
