Job Summary

S&A Drywall is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and outdoors environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
Working Conditions

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
