Job Title: Project Director, mNPR Implementation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the implementation of the Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (mNPR) initiative at Fraser Health.

About the Role:

The Project Director will be responsible for mobilizing and advancing all elements of the implementation, providing expert advice and guidance, and informing the implementation plan. This role will require strong leadership and project management skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of the mNPR initiative across nursing practice areas in Fraser Health
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team
  • Inform the implementation plan and carry out delegated functions from the Executive Director, Clinical Lead mNPR Implementation
  • Collaborate with key partners, including union representatives, and services, including Staffing Services, Human Resources, and Strategic Transformation
  • Provide implementation progress reports, identify barriers and risks, and report findings to the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree and ten (10) years recent experience in complex healthcare environments
  • Five (5) years progressive project and/or change management leadership experience
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, statutes, regulations, professional standards of practice, and how nursing practice contributes to quality of patient care
  • Competency in project/program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation
