Job Title: Project Director, mNPR Implementation

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead the implementation of the Minimum Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (mNPR) in Fraser Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for mobilizing and advancing all elements of the implementation, providing expert advice and guidance, and ensuring the seamless provision of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mNPR implementation project team and act as a liaison across nursing practice areas
  • Collaborate with key partners, including union representatives, and services, such as Staffing Services, Human Resources, and Strategic Transformation
  • Provide implementation progress reports, identify barriers and risks, and report findings to the Fraser Health mNPR Project Leadership Team
  • Facilitate communication and feedback loops within Fraser Health, between nursing practice areas, and the mNPR Project Leadership Team
  • Engage nurses, nursing leaders, and union representatives in the continuous improvement of the mNPR implementation, workplace culture, and quality of nursing care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a master's degree and ten years of recent experience in a complex healthcare environment
  • Five years of progressive project and/or change management leadership experience
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate policy, processes, and guidelines
  • Knowledge and understanding of nursing legislation, statutes, regulations, professional standards of practice, and how nursing practice contributes to quality of patient care
