About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machinist - CNC Specialist to join our team at Allied Forming Ltd. as a key member of our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to set up and adjust production machinery and tools.
  • Maintenance and Calibration: Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, and set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Operate automatic lathes, drill presses, engine lathes, and use computer numerical control (CNC) machines and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and be physically demanding with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, and be a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: English.
