We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's strategic direction and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Enterprise Architecture Frameworks: Create and maintain a comprehensive enterprise architecture framework that aligns with our business and IT strategies.
- Define and Disseminate Standards and Principles: Establish and communicate enterprise-wide standards and guiding principles for architectural frameworks across all business units and domains.
- Translate Business Priorities into Architecture Requirements: Convert business priorities into architecture requirements, ensuring a balanced approach across all domains, including business, information, solution, and technology architecture.
- Review and Refine Enterprise Architecture Landscape: Regularly review the enterprise architecture landscape to ensure progress towards defined target state architectures, considering business growth and technology evolution.
- Lead Global Initiatives for Continuous Improvement: Identify, plan, and lead global initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of the enterprise architecture, considering aspects such as cost, benefit, and risk.
- Proactively Identify Risks and Opportunities: Proactively identify risks and opportunities in the enterprise architecture landscape. Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Build and Maintain Global Enterprise Architecture Roadmaps: Create and maintain global enterprise architecture roadmaps, illustrating the transitional states between current and target architectures.
- Evaluate Vendor Ecosystem: Regularly evaluate our vendor ecosystem, assessing the quality of services, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with our enterprise architecture strategy.
- Participate in Architecture Review Board Meetings: Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) or Design Authority (DA) meetings to review initiatives for alignment with architectural principles and guidelines.
- Lead Strategic Investment Planning Activities: Lead strategic investment planning activities, aligning them with enterprise architecture strategy. Evaluate potential investments for their impact on the architectural landscape and their ability to drive the business towards its strategic goals.
- Minimum 10 Years' Experience in Enterprise Architecture: A minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, with a focus on enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or a related IT field.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
- Broad Knowledge of Business Processes and Technologies: Broad knowledge of business processes, technologies, and applications relevant to our industry.
- Exceptional Strategic Thinking Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking skills, with an ability to see the 'big picture'.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven Experience in Managing Complex Transformation Programs: Proven experience in managing complex, enterprise-wide transformation programs.
