Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
- Language: Fluency in English.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week.
