Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a crucial role in the overall success of Spencer's & Spirit Halloween stores. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this individual is responsible for supporting the management team in achieving sales and profitability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Development: Foster a positive and productive work environment by developing and motivating store staff to achieve their full potential.
- Expense Control: Monitor and control store expenses to ensure maximum profitability.
- Merchandising and Inventory: Oversee all aspects of merchandising and inventory control, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and stockroom organization.
- Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience: Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
