Pediatric Nurse Job Description

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse to join our team. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients' conditions and advise physicians of any changes.
  • Participate in community needs assessments and develop care plans.
  • Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and collaborate with healthcare teams.
  • Deliver health education programs and provide guidance to patients and families.
  • Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Manage home care cases and operate medical equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
