Job Title: Bus Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at MVT Canadian Bus, Inc. (Barrie Transit). As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on our bus routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate buses to transport passengers safely and efficiently
  • Provide passengers with information on fares, schedules, and stops
  • Collect fares and record transactions
  • Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Deal with public and resolve conflicts
  • Complete logbooks and reports
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
  • 20/20 vision
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
  • Sitting
