Job Summary:

The Insulation Supervisor will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and overseeing apprenticeship training. The successful candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be organized, and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Manage own company to ensure efficient operations and profitability
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient use
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and reliable
  • Team player with excellent leadership skills
  • First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and WHMIS Certificate
