About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Officer to join our team at JHL Contractors Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement policies that support the growth of our business and the development of our clients.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs that promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data analysis, report writing, and research.
  • Staff Recruitment and Management: Recruit and manage a team of staff, ensuring that they have the skills and expertise needed to support our business development goals.
  • Client Engagement: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community, providing expert advice and guidance on development opportunities.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Marketing and Communications: Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts, and articles that showcase our expertise and promote our services.
  • Strategic Planning: Conduct analytical marketing studies and develop marketing strategies that support our business development goals.
  • Business Development: Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development potential and future trends, and review and evaluate commercial or industrial development proposals.
  • Business Planning: Design market research questionnaires, develop business plans, and ensure that our clients have the necessary licenses and permits to operate.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
