In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading complex projects across multiple teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing agile methodologies.
- Building scalable and reliable systems from the ground up, making a significant and lasting impact on our services.
- Utilizing your expertise in Algorithms, Data Structures, Java, and NoSQL to develop high-quality software solutions.
- Mentoring junior engineers and guiding them in best practices for software design and architecture.
About Our Team:
The Amazon Digital Acceleration team is at the forefront of enhancing digital commerce experiences. We support various Amazon services, processing billions of transactions annually, and are dedicated to delivering seamless customer experiences in both one-time and recurring purchases.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of comprehensive software development experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, excluding internships.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language with a strong focus on design patterns and system reliability.
- Experience in a leadership role, guiding design or architecture for new and existing systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
