Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health of poultry
  • Feed and care for animals
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery
  • Clean and maintain stables, barns, and pens
  • Identify health issues in livestock and poultry
  • Prepare daily progress reports
  • Manage water lines, air flow, and temperature in housing facilities
Equipment Experience
  • Experience with feeding and watering systems
Automated Systems
  • Familiarity with bulk grain or feed handling systems
  • Experience with automated environmental control equipment
  • Knowledge of manure handling and storage
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding tasks, including repetitive motions
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Good hand-eye coordination
