As a Document Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of information within engineering and construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass managing document lifecycles, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with project teams to ensure timely delivery of critical documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain meticulous document control folder structures and implement project-specific procedures.
  • Manage distribution matrices for project documents, ensuring efficient dissemination to relevant stakeholders.
  • Update and maintain the document register in designated software, accurately reflecting document status and revisions.
  • Assign unique document numbers and release fabrication drawings according to established distribution lists.
  • Prepare comprehensive shop fabrication binders, organizing all necessary documentation for on-site reference.
  • Collaborate with project teams to track document versions, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Utilize proficiency in Aconex, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to manage documents effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in document control within the engineering or construction sector.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining document management systems.
  • Strong understanding of engineering and construction documentation standards and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Aconex, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams.
