Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Kobe Microgreens and Greenhouses Ltd. as a Packer, Vegetables. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and freshness of our produce by performing various tasks related to harvesting, sorting, grading, and packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Harvesting and Sorting: Cut agricultural crops, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, and sort fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, color, and volume.
  • Grading and Packaging: Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades to fetch high prices in the market, pack fruits and vegetables, and tie and secure plants.
  • Farm Operations: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Quality Control: Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
